Well I have project 64 and whenever I try to run Gauntlet 64 on it, the background is always missing. So I decided to download 1964 to try it on that emulator but my anti virus program flagged it as a virus and moved it to quarantine because it couldn't disinfect the virus. I tried downloading the Ultra Hal or whatever it is but I couldn't even get that one to download. Can anyone help me? I just want to play Gauntlet 64 :(

Has this virus been identified by your antivirus software? I mean, does it have a name or something like Win32/X, where X is the virus/trojan name?
Most modern antivirus software use heuristic methods to detect infections. By heuristic I mean they can find viruses that have not yet been discovered and thus, it may have compared 1964's coding similar to a virus.
Anyway, if you downloaded that emu from here, we'll check it out and find a "clean" replacement, since it's not the first time we have received these reports about 1964 being infected.

I did download the 1964 emulator from this site and I don't remember what the virus was labeled as. I deleted it right away. I'm using an anti-virus program which I pay 90$ a year for so I know it's a good anti virus program.

what is the name of this anti virus program? Some anti virus program such as Norton is a crap and painful to uninstall and it's lousy program.

My antivirus didn't detect 1964 as a threat. Our files are taken directly from developers site, so there shouldn't be any problem.
