Is it possible to capture the screen into png or jpg format?

I am using Gens v2.12b. If yes, how do I configure the settings to save screen shots as png or jpg format? It's currently saving the screen shot as bitmap, but that occupy too much space.

Hit your PrtScn button on your keyboard (usually along the top next to the function keys). Now open paint 'Start-Program Files-Accessories-Paint', click 'file' and select paste. It will paste the screen grab you made using prtscn and you can select save-as and save as a Jpeg.

If you're trying to do lots of them though its not an ideal method.

Yeah, that's what I am doing, trying to capture a lot of screenshots. Thanks for the help though. Is there another emulator that allows you to capture the screenshots into png or jpg just by changing the emulator settings?

The Print Screen button works for everything.
