I've got some Nintendo DS roms along with NoGBA. I'm experiencing both lag and sound issues. Does this happen with everyone, or is there some way of playing perfectly? Does anyone know whether or not full screen is going to be available for Nintendo DS roms? I hate playing on such a small screen on a big computer monitor.

If you have a dual core CPU, it may run smoothly.

So NoGBA is the best right now for running Nintendo DS roms? And what about full screen mode? I hate having to view such a small screen.

There's no full screen support yet. The only way you can view it bigger is setting your screen to 640x480.

Dont you hate when you play the actually nintendo ds that is small screen too? Well, dont complaint. I don't. As long as it is playable and impressive then you should be happy. :)

Not only in dual core ,but even if you have a strong single core PC for example at mine P 3.4 GHZ , Ram 1gb VGA 512mb runs at more than 100% and it never goes down 96% which is the lowest speed i get.
At my laptop 1.9GHZ dual core i don't see any difference , but Nogba runs smoothly in my both systems.(In fact Portrait of Ruin runs slower at my laptop)
Just like Rockman says you should be happy ,a few months ago we could not emulate it to the level it is now,so enjoy.

I so know what you mean about the small screen. i cant even play nds emulators yet because i have a plasma screen.. Burn-in's suck...
NDS2xgl is a trick some use and its a bit of a cpu hog i here. I dont have issues with it though. The other trick is to go in to the properties of the exe and set the resolution there. The second is sort of lame in my opinion. Plus it still has borders and i can have any.

Yeah, the second is really lame anyway. :)

Hey Rockmanforte i did a little research and i found out some techie web page which tell us the real speed of processors ,i didn't mean that when i asked you but this :
ntel Laptop Processors
Intel Core 2 Duo
T7600-----2.33GHz-----6.28GHz
T7400-----2.16GHz-----5.51 GHz
T7200-----2.00GHz-----4.99GHz
T5600-----1.83GHz-----3.84GHz
T5500-----1.66 GHz----3.37 GHz
Intel Core Duo
T2050-----1.60GHz-----2.75GHz
T2300-----1.66GHz-----3.00GHz
T2250-----1.73GHz-----3.11GHz
T2400-----1.83GHz-----3.43GHz
T2500-----2.00GHz-----3.74GHz
Intel Pentium M
770-----2.13GHz-----3.00GHz
750-----1.86GHz-----2.79GHz
Intel Celeron M
350-----1.3GHz-----1.3GHz
Intel Pentium 4 Mobile
???-----1.60GHz-----2.39GHz
Intel Pentium 4
Prescott-----3GHz-----4.6GHz
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AMD Laptop Processors
AMD Turion 64 X2
TL-60-----2.01GHz-----4.22GHz
TL-50-----1.60GHz-----3.11GHz
AMD Sempron
3300+-----1.99GHz-----3.30GHz
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Intel Desktop Processors
Intel Quad Core
QX6700-----2.67GHz-----10.02 GHz
Intel Core 2 Duo
E6600-----3.0GHz-----8.58GHz (This is OCed, stock clocks are 2.4GHz)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AMD Desktop Processors
AMD Athlon 64
3200+-----1.99GHz-----3.20GHz
AMD Athlon XP
2600+-----2.09GHz-----2.60GHz
2400+-----2.00GHz-----2.40GHz
So the real speed of yours is 8.58GHZ if you have the E6600 Core 2 duo .
Of course some processors miss here ,but anyone can add what miss for other people and maybe to have this as a little bit of reference when buying a new pc or new laptop.
