i have some roms for the gameboy andi hve visual boy advance but they dont seem to work...i drag and drop...and ive tyred opening through the file option.why dont they work...there file type is .rar and .zip

Long shot here, but have you tried to extract them first?

a Rar and Zip are compressed files. unzip with winzip or winrar.
