ff9 fmv freezing

I've been having a few problems with the fmv scenesin ff9. first problem was with the fmv of the airship leaving dali in disc 1. the fmv would freeze while playing. the problem was fixed after i downloaded epsxe version 1.7.0 and pete's latest plug ins. so all was good until i reached disc 3. the game freezes up in the fmv of bahamut attacking alexandria. unlike my first problem, this fmv doesnt actually start. the screen just turns black right before the fmv plays and stays that way.

I've tried messing around with all my video plugins and i'm stumped. any suggestions would be appreciated as I am anxious to continue the game.

This emu not workung very good for FF9, try use the psx13 for playing FF9.
