Anyone else quite sad McRae has quit the WRC?

The way he's been shunned is shocking. The FIA though were shit in passing the rule change so late in the season, leaving alot of drivers in limbo with no teams to go to the following season as all the contracts had been signed..

Sport will miss him alot. By far the most naturally gifted driver of his generation, and much better than his 1 world championship suggests.

The FIA changed the rules a month ago, meaning each team could only have 1 driver who has won a world championship on there books. unfortunately McRae who was driving for Citroen was dumpedf in favour of Carlos Sainz, simply because Spain is a larger market for Citroen than the UK.

However because the rule change came so late in the season, Colin couldn't find another team for next year. So the best driver in the sport is left in the cold.
