Sometimes right in the middle of a game the screen will go black and when you try and exit a smaller black window shows up that says 3D text.Once you close it you'll get the usual message of "End Program Now?"
I select yes,but the game keeps running in a cut window...I'll close ePSXe and then reopen selecting Run>Continue and the game goes on right where I left off. This has happend with 2 games,so I know its not a bad iso.
What could be the problem,I know Im not overloading it,I'm using Petes OpenGL for standard systems(not OpenGL2).

Yes I have the latest version of ePSXe.Whats P.E.Op.S?
Iv been playing for the past few days and so far its been working fine,I think maybe it was my screensaver that kept getting in the way,Iv timed it and the screen goes black around the same time I have my screensaver set to go off...all I do now is move the mouse and it doesnt happen,so far, hopefully everything keeps running smoothly.

I think pete's plugins have a turn off screen saver check box. - It tunrn of your saver during game play.
Technical info about screen savors.
If you run your CRT ( non lcd type of monitor) For 5 days with one image on the screen (monitor on ) you may,,, may get a burn in..
Changes are if you do that you need your head examined. The power you burn to doing that would be like 50 buck!!! No one leaves there monitors on that long any more... and I believe LCD are even better with burn in.. The only risky monitors are plasmas. And I doubt you have one of those.
My point being, why to you have a screen savor turned on? for the light show? Turn it off ,you dont need it.. People just think they do.

Lol...I have my screensaver turned on because sometimes while surfing or playing games I need to leave and do some stuff...but I have it turned off for now.Your right I dont have a plasma...its LCD.
At first I found it really weird that this kept happening cause my screensacer never gets in the way of ZSNES,Kega or any of the classic console emultors, and I would never leave my PC on for 5 days..not even 2....I always turn it off when Im done for the day.
