Need help running a ps2 game

Does anyone have a clue what im supposed to do when a window Ps2 Output says like isoReadBlock XXXXXXX continously?

I downloaded from torrent a compressed FFX file and the when I go on run and execute and then select the IMG file (only file that shows upon selection) I get the same result. :confused:

So If you noticed anything wrong in what I said (e.g its not supposed to be an IMG file) please tell me what Im supposed to do to fix any of these problems
