Can I play 4 player N64 games on my XBOX?

I have an XBOX with Surreal 64 on it to play N64 games. That all works fine but even after I enable all 4 controllers, when I load up the individual games they act like I only have 2 controllers plugged in the N64. So is it possible to play with 4 players with this kind of setup?

download the newest version of surreall.surreallxxxb5 is the version you need as it now comes with 4-player support.
