no$ configuration help

Alright I recently downloaded no$ and Mario Hoops 3 on 3. Everything works well but there's a problem with the keyboard. It seems like the game will only allow me to move around and none of the xyab buttons work. I checked the settings and I had the joypad enabled. Should it be disabled? And has anyone else had this problem?

My PSX usb adapter works fine on this emulator. No, it should be enabled.

What you can do is click B button to make it blue high light then press your controller's buttons to change it. Hard to explain but do you understand ? :P

Yeah I do. I happen to have a joypad to use but i prefer to use the keyboard.
The keys work for other games but not 3 on 3. But try what you advised.
