Hello Everyone!! ;D ;D
I hope you're all doing well.

The reason of this post is to see whether people can help me in this doubt of mine.

The thing is that I'm going to start college pretty soon.
What classes/major/subjects should I take/pursuit/study in order to become an accomplished game programmer?

What if I want to do some romhacking?

How should I start?
What classes should I take?
What programming language should I study? (Basic, C++, C#)?

Thanks in advance to all of you for your help.

It's hard to say what classes in particular.. But if you really want to become a game programmer, there are colleges out there that teach only game design and programming.

Have you looked into that?

Otherwise, I know majoring in computer science will get you programming classes. You'll likely want to learn at least C/C++
