i got a set of atari emulators from a friend and i cant get them to work at all im sure its really simple but i just am not too computer savy i guess, i was wondering if anyone could lend some advice i run the good5200 App. and it brings up a command prompt window ... i dont know what command to type there if thats how you even do it... any advice would be great... thank you very much...

For Atari5200 I use the MESS emulator. Works great. I'm pretty sure good5200 is a rom naming tool.

Good5200 is part of the GoodTools suite. They are ROM naming and cataloguing applications, not emulators.

You have to execute them from an open DOS prompt window to use them anyway.. Clicking on Command Prompt apps doesn't usually run them properly because they need command-line arguments.

Inthis case you need to find an actual emulator.. There should be some listed on the main Emulator Zone site, I should think.. As mentioned MESS can be used, another older emulator is Stella, also.
