i need help with the gamecube emulators!!

I have already downloaded it and have it installed but when i try a game it says i need a joystick... do i need to go buy one, i mean do i need to go buy a certain joystick? or what else can i do?

do i need to go buy one - no there should be a keyboard plugin.


do i need to go buy a certain joystick? - no but some give less troubles then others. Rule of thumb the cheaper the less head aches. I just get the usb adapters for the joystick I want.
