I'm on sort of a personal project to create a dat of a definitive list of English only SNES games. The goal: No duplicate game listings, but as many games as possible. I used GoodSNES and NSRT to help identify alternate titles, and used the No-Intro dat as a base. I've been combing through Romhacking for all the complete (or near-complete) translations available.

But, after reading about "Mario and Wario" on Wikipedia, I got to thinking. Here is a game that was produced only for Super Famicom (Japan), but was released completely in English. Are there other games like that out there?

Does anyone know of any other games that would be marked by GoodSNES as being a Japanese game, but nearly all text is in English?

Loads of Japanese games (that aren't RPG's) were released with English text. Particularly things like shooters etc, where even if there is a small amount of Japanese text all the commands and instructions are in English.

For anyone interested: you can review the goal of this project and both Adultery's and my own (dawynn) files at the Spesoft Gamex forums

Please leave feedback if you try out either one of our dat's.

Thanks!
