is there any way i can hook my 360 up to my laptop screen.if so would it be in hi-def?

Hmmm... maybe if it has a "video/s-video/component input", though if not, well, guess not, though if so, probably won't be in "Hi-Def" since your converting from TV format to pixel format, might be a bit more "fuzzy". ;)

Devices like TV tuners let you take coax, HDMI, component...etc as inputs and displayed on your screen, however sometimes these things have so much lag that console games are unplayable.

Addressing consoles on PC monitors. There is absolutely no problem playing them.. When playing hi-def games as long as your screen supports the resolution it will appear crystal clear. Probably even for the standard resolutions.

Its older non 3D hardware consoles (PSX/Saturn and lower) that have problems appearing grainy and pixelated.

Whether or not your laptop has inputs, well not for me to say...

My bro has a 40 something inch HDTV with component, HDMI input etc.. PC, consoles, whatever looks great on it, works just like a monitor when hooked up to a computer screen too. crystal clear high-res
