Hi folks.

Please help me, I am having slow emulation (kinda of missing frames, audio sluggish), with any emulator that I try. Right now I am trying to run snes9x and meka.

My computer is an HP DV9628NR laptop, with AMD TL-58 1.9GHz, 2GB RAM, nvidia 7150M and windows vista... Is this still not enough to emulate master system, snes on vista... or am I missing something? Please help!

I remember that I had a Pentium-3 800MHz with 256MB RAM and all these emulators worked 100% on that machine... But it was windows xp... So either it's vista or what wrong am I doing?

Cheers,
Raphael

somethings wrong with your video drivers, make sure you update them to the ones that's vista compatible, screw vista.

emulators run better on Wine with Ubuntu, most likely at full speed with XP

Vista is shit. Either get the right drivers for Vista or switch back to XP.

Yeah, switch back to xp and wait for a couple of years for Windows 7. Vista is going to have a short life span.
