PS2 Emulation On The Way????

i was just wondering if anyone knows if a workable ps2 emulator is in development and how far off it is.....if anyone has a link to somewhere i can read about it that would be cool too...thanks

They still saying that it runs way too slow on any system. Unless you have a the horse power outa this world. Its been said that you computer has to be 8 times faster that what its emulating. But to your question yes it works. Im still trying to find a bios. Cuz i dont have every thing i need to dump it outa my ps2.

I'm pretty sure my computer is at least 10 times faster than the PS2 LOL.
And it's Quad-core too. So 4 CPU each at 10 times faster. :laugh:

PS2 cpu = 300 mhz
My Comp cpu = Quad-core 3200 mhz on each core

CPU speed is only a small part of it.

You could have 1000 Blue Genes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Gene) in your bedroom and still not be able to run a PS2 game at a playable speed.

You will need core 2 duo and higher gfx card to run ps2 games better and it is called PCSX2.

Nobody know when they will release it because they wont tell us. It's annoying to them. They have life and they can do whatever they want. :)
