I'm looking for a way to play (burned) imported original xbox games in my xbox 360. Is there any way of modding a 360 to do this without having to install a modchip?

you can flash your dvd-drive firmware,but it depends on what dvd-drive you have.one of the newer drives needs a modchip and a firmware flash.also if you are going to play backups of xbox1 games then the games have to be burned to dual-layer dvds and burned the same way that you would burn an xbox 360 game.
for more info on this you need to go to the xbox-scene forums and go to their 360 section.personally i would just play them on a modded xbox1.
