The site and forum has moved to a new server. The new server should be significantly faster than the old one, especially if you're in Europe as the new server is in the UK (it used to be in the USA). The new server is running PHP 5, which the scripts that run the site may not be entirely incompatible with. I've already fixed a few issues, but if you find more problems please report them by posting a comment or send us a message (http://forums.emulator-zone.com/sendmessage.php).

Thanks for the headsup.

I have noticed pages loading faster than on the old server.

It's significantly faster and I'm in South America.

I noticed the speed increase earlier today, I'm from the Philippines,
the speed was great, (5 threads\5 Tabs seems to load faster)
I was able to compare it since the pages are bookmarked, they load faster than before.

it was all good, then suddenly..
just now, i'm having problems opening pages,
had to refresh the main page 5 times for it to load,
the forum wont open,

(and I'm sure it isn't my ISP or connection, cos I have other tabs opened, and I tested them when EZ won't load)
they did.

I'll wait a bit later, the problem might go away :D

other than that (from my experience earlier) the speed is great.
Cheers

I got a "Server too busy" message the day after server move. I don't think it's a major issue though.

The issues experience were likely DNS related. This tends to happen when a site moves servers. It takes two to three days for the changes to propogate throughout the entire Internet and various networks of DNS servers.

Just for future reference.. ;)
