Problem Runnin' MOST pokemon games with vba

Ok, I have roms of I think all of the Pokemon games for GBA. Of all of them, only one of them works. Pokemon Fire Red version is the only one that does. When I try to open the others(Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby) The screen just turns white and nothing happens. I tried with Visual Boy advance,1.6a,1.7.2,1.8.0-beta 3. Any help here is appreciated.

make sure its a Good Rom Dump, usually it's tagged with (!)
try using a bios too, and rendering mode to directdraw or direct3d (gdi and opengl fail sometimes)

if that doesn't help get no$gba

Is there a version of no$gba that supports .zips?

Yes, only supports .zips but not .rars. The latest version does.. say 2.6 for free public and 2.6a is for donator of course.
