A Few Questions from a semi-n00b

If fairly new to MAME. I downloaded it a few months ago and couldnt get it working and quit for a while. Then i found out about Mame32 and am back in the game. I just have a couple of questions i hope you can anwser.
1. I have mslug3.zip and MAME says im missing some files, they are: sfix.sfx, sp-s2.sp1, sm1.sm1, and 000-lo.lo. Can somebody help me with this?

2. When using mame the display is off. is there any way i can center it?

3.In some of the larger files the sound ecoes. Is this just my PC or what?

You are missing the NeoGeo bios files. Search for the bios as a file called neogeo.zip

ok i got that but i think there's something wrong with it.
How large is that .zip sposed to be?

ok nm i got it working but now its just a bunch of scrambled pixels i think its still encrypted or something. You can just see the outlines of the sprites. Why is this?
