Hello all! I downloaded Mame version 0.121.0.0 and someone in here said you have to google arcade roms and some how place those into Mame in order to play them.

I am an old timer but love classic arcade games. How do I place these arcade roms into my Mame application because when I try to open Mame it says "No games found. Check the rompath specified in the mame.ini file."

I can't play Gradius IV through mame32.
I have the roms together with the bios file, but the problem is with the emulation. The screen flickers.

Should really put other requests in their own thread rather than jump on this one but Gradius 4 should work ok with Mame versions after 0.113 although the sound is still no good.

So its either your mame version needs updating, your PC hardware isn't up to the job or there is some issue with your rom.
