Ok, so i've downloaded ePSXe, configured it and everything. Downloaded Final Fantasy VII, it works fine. I'm using an Xbox 360 controller on my PC but whatever I press on the controller nothing comes up on the game.

Do I need to purchase a compatible controller? or is there a way I can get the 360 controller to work with this game?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm going to guess you have the corded version of the 360. If so you should see the HID in the game controller panel. Do the buttons work in there.

I'm not sure what you mean by HID in the game, but yes it's the corded and in the Windows Control Panel all the buttons work fine according to it. Do I some how have to configure it to the ePSXe? I've looked around and not found anything, I am new to emulators as you've probably gathered.

Thanks for the reply.

EDIT: I have got it working now, simple and stupid mistake. Closed Thread.

You need to map EPSXE to use the Controllers.
(if the controller is working properly on the control panel, you can map the buttons of Epsxe, so it will recognize the keypress\button presses)
