DVD Emulation

i wanna run dvd data CD on my cd rom ,so are there any emulators

You cannot use a DVD on a CD-ROM drive. You need a DVD-ROM drive.

i remember hearing about a program that allowed you to run DVDs through a regular cd drive because it had some sort of software emulation for the DVD decoders or something like that.... the writers of the program got sued (obviously) and i havent heard about it since (this was 4 years ago)

Agreed. I waited for it for a long time until i got my DVD Drive. :(

Yes, that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. A CD Drive just doesn't have the right hardware in it to read DVDs. The laser is too fat, for a start.
