According to Gekko's website, the project is delayed because the developer is a dad now (you know, the responsibilities of maintaining a baby).

Dont expect the higher compabilities. It won't for other 10 years. Get wii or cheaper gamecube.

'm the main dev at the moment with a baby now but I still find time to hunt down bugs and fix flaws (heck I was dev'ing at the hospital) - heck now that dedication, way to go DAD!
