I waited 10mins. The screen just goes black with my Desktop bar at the bottom showing... Can anyone help me out here... thank you =P

First Check your pc specs to make sure you can run the emulator properly, i shouldnt think it would be a problem as my comp is a junkbox and runs it fine.
You must also use the correct graphics plugins for your machine, if you have a graphics card try these.

Petes D3D driver 1.76 for video
Eternal spu plugin 1.4 for sound

They also may work with your primary display drivers, try an update your direct x.

If your still having problems try a diffrent emulator. :)

Try Xebra. It's the best one and you do not need plugins for it at all. All you need is psx bios and you are good to go! :D

Playing a game

1) Make a folder titled Xebra or what ever you want to call it.

2) Copy and paste 1001/ 7502 bio into that folder.

3) Start the emu click:

File- open-OS rom image,
choose the bios that you copy and pasted in the xebra folder.
DON'T delete the bio in the folder. Leave it BE.

note
Step 3 will not have to repeated every time you start the emu.
Once its done, its done.

4) To play a game you can mount image or insert cd. Click on:

File- open- CD rom via SPTI.....
Find your drive and click on anything on that drive- open.

Mount files such as. cue. ccd etc

note
Sometimes the contents of the drive will not show up.
One known game is FF7. Not to worry you can also open image files by doing:

File-open- CD rom image (choose where your image is stored)-open

when opening CD images they must be .img, .bin etc NOT .cue,, .ccd etc.

You must repeat step 4 every time you start emu.

This is because the emu does not 'remember' what you selected. If you don't you will just run the bios and not the game when you click Run2

5) Now Just click on:

Run- Run 2 (1-pass).

After a short pause the emu should start. The game will start through the bios first so don't exit, just be patient. ENJOY.

Yes, you can. By mounting the image using Daemon-Tools.

Then follow steps 4 and 5 from RockmanForte's post above if you are using Xebra. :)

Can't do about it since it might have something to do with your low PC specs. (unless you have a faster CPU)
