What i thought would be a very easy task has become sort of an hair pulling experience for me. i've built an arcade cab and i am wanting to put all the old consoles on there too including the screen shots, box cover art and cart shots of the games.. i'm sure a few of you already know where im going with this. i've found it incredibly hard to find matching roms and picture names, through all my interwebs searching ive been unable to find a website that keeps this sort of stuff up to date.. i see the screenshot archive did a good job up until mid 05 and the xbox community has done a wonderful job of keepin up to date but their short file names are sorta sucky for us pc arcade cab users.

so does anybody know where i can get up to date artwork.. i DREAD having to rename all this stuff by hand!

thanks!

Sometimes you have to sacrifice to get what you want.

I'm not very familiar with this particular area myself, but sounds like you could probably benefit from searching for some kind of automatic renaming program that does batch jobs

I dont believe any of the following sites are "bad" or promote piracy..If I made an error I'm truly sorry, I look them over.

Bot sure if they have what you need, but give it a shot..
http://www.atariage.com/
http://www.localarcade.com/screenshotarchive/

I know there are many others. I downloaded from one site ever system zipped up..

I collect the No-Intro (http://gbadat.altervista.org) sets for these systems. You can get full screenshots packs renamed using the No-Intro names at the No-Intro Screenshot Archive (http://no-intro.dlgsoftware.net/main.php).

thanks, the no-intro site is just what i'm looking for.. even tho they don't have a lot of box art, the auto name scheming tools are worth it alone. thanks again

My god. Do you realize how many screenshots you would have to find? There are so many games your head will pop. You probably need to find a dedicated staff of 3 good friends. Sounds good though.

The boxarts/cartscans are still being worked on. 100% completion is the goal ;)
