ummm... you trying to get banned? Your not allowed to say where you got the rom from. It against the forum rules.
Anyway Kawaks (http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/arcade/kawaks.html) and MAME can play both Samurai Shodown V and Samurai Shodown V Special, and you just need the neogeo bios for them.

Many noobs do not bother to read the rules before registers. That's why they are lazy to read it and do whatever they want. I think this forum need to be stricter. :)

I just think the mods need to be a bit more active... or atleast in the arcade section.

Yeah, they are not active very much.

They are active enough. Just check the users who visited in the last 24 hours. There are always a few who have been banned. This needs mods' intervention.
Also, don't forget they do this for free.

Exactly. Its free... why not get a few more?
The NINTENDO 64 EMULATOR - INFORMATION (http://forums.emulator-zone.com/showthread.php?t=11311) thread has been in the arcade section for almost a week now. The above rom link has been here for more than 24 hours... I just know the arcade section, and it rarely gets a mod visit.

Precisely! It's free as well but I agreed with Epsi... Why not get a few more ? It will save their days! :D
yeah this thread hardly moved for almost a week now and that's why we noticed that they rarely gets a visit there. *SAD*

I'll address this issue then..
It has already been made clear on several occassions that new MODs will be added at the Staff's discretion. Talking about it amongst yourselves is fruitless in that regard.
If a thread is sitting around, don't go "ho hummm where are the mods?"
We have a REPORT button. Many of you use it, some of you need to use it a little more often.
If you report a post, chances are 99% that a moderator, somewhere in the world, will act on the notification. We all live in different countries and time zones. If one of us is around, we DO investigate reported posts.
That doesn't mean go around clicking report on a bunch of threads every hour, all you need to do, is do it once.. If the problem persists, then bring it up by PM'ing a MOD or using the feedback forum.
This isn't about getting paid or not. This is not about being strict or not. We simply ask you use some of the tools provided, to help notify us of problems. We don't browse the forums 24/7, but we DO try to show up if there is a problem being reported.
If we banned everyone on the first offense it would accomplish nothing, n00b or not. It would keep people from coming here, whether the person spreading word about their ban deserved that ban or not.
That is all.

Look, I'm all for useing the report button, but it states:
Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts.
Nothing about wrong/move threads, posting rom links or brakeing forum rules.
Then I suggest you please update the Report "Note" text...

That's a fair point. This has to go through Lefty. He is the one with access to change those things.
Anyway, consider it appropriate to report posts containing links or clearly breaking other rules that appear to not be dealt with. Or just PM someone.
As for threads in the wrong place, apply some logic to that too. If its been sitting there forever, and clearly needs to be moved, then feel free to notify someone that they should maybe take a look. But don't take that to mean you can go hunt down tons of old out of place posts, obviously.
