Everything he/she typed was in caps... even his/her name, and the thread name. Maby he/she doesnt know of any better... or his/her capslock and shift buttons are broken.
Anyway, back to the question at hand. What version of "VISUAL GAMEBOY ADVANCE" are you useing? Maby you should try useing a newer version of "VisualBoyAdvance" or if you have the latest, try useing the "no$gba" emulator.

Can't solve the problem unless ya list your PC's core and what version of the emulator your using, though sounds like a DirectX issue, maybe a version of what your using of that might help also. ;)
BTW: Do you have any problems with any other games or is it just this one area?
EDIT: Got an ideal, go to: Options - Video - Render Method - & select "OpenGL" if not already checked and see if it's a Directx problem with your video card. Play the game and see if it still does this. Another thing, go to your Start menu, click "Run" and type "dxdiag". Let it scan, when it's done, go to "Display" tab and see if Direct3D & Draw acceleration is Enabled, might be your problem... your video card might not have up-to-date drivers, but there may not be any to enable these, which had this problem with an older card. :)

Got a similar error playing Metroid: Zero Mission, though was a DirectX error on my end and suddenly stopped the game during a boss fight. Guess I'm wrong here... *Puts foot in mouth*. :p
