Im looking for gradius, or any star defender games which emulater would have these or anything close to what i am looking for. any suggestions?

There are hundreds of original arcade scrolling shooters supported in MAME, including Gradius/Nemesis and all the other well known classics.

In line with the forum rules you cannot get assistance in acquiring the game roms on these boards as discussion of romsites is forbidden but once you find what you are looking for then download mame and we can help you getting it set up if you get stuck.
