I use a specific audio, video & rsp plugin combination that actually made the audio work for all n64 compatible listed roms. This combo also got games like 007-The World Is Not Enough, Hydro Thunder, Polaris Sno Cross and NBA Showtime NBA on NBC to work. Perfect Audio!

Use Azimer's Audio HLE plugin v0.56 WIP 2
Jabo's Direct3D8 Video plugin
(Direct3D6 plugin is need for about 16 n64 Roms to correct menu & text errors!)
and Jabo's RSP plugin.

Do not adjust Azimer's Audio plugin, leave setting as "Default"

For Jabo's video plugin:
Resolution Setting: 800x600 16bit 60Hz to match emulator speeed.
Check: "Filtered Rendering" for crisper praphics.
Using 2xSal texture setting will cause text errors in games!
Use of other options are up to the user!

Options under the "Advanced" tab is not needed! Use at your own risk!

Jabo's RSP Plugin:

DO NOT SELECT "send Audio Lists to Audio Plugin!"

DO SELECT: "send Display Lists to Graphic Plugin!"

Use project64 1.6's speed limiter! Go to "System" --> "Limit FPS"

Once the configurations are set PLAY ALL N64 ROMS IN "FULL SCREEN" for maximun plugin performance! This combo has also corrected a few errors in other roms that were listed with issues in the rom data base.

You will never have to keep switching plugins to play certain games. These setting work for all n64 compatible roms YEAH!

NOTABLE GAMES TO PLAY WITH THIS CONFIGURATION: 007-the World Is Not Enough, 007-Golden Eye, Hydro Thunder, NBA Showtime, Castlevania, Castlevania Legacy of Darkness, Perfect Dark, Shadows of the Empire, Shadow Man, Doom 64 and Nightmare Creatures!

Then you have to switch it anyway. Nothing special.

By the way, these settings depends on the hardware configuration, I mean, not all video and sound cards are the same and that's why there's a diversity of plugins. For instance, Jabo's Direct3D8 plugin doesn't work well with some integrated chipsets, so they're forced to switch to Jabo's Direct3D6.

Butters,

I don't give a damn who you are! Whether you're a moderator or an idiot, don't try to down my suggestions and make me look bad when your suggestions and comments aren't any better! This is a forum designed to help others and not to supply insults. Your problem is you think you know more than everybody else. I want an apology!

No. It is me the one who wants an apology from you, I just pointed out a damn fact, contrary of your thread's purpose.

Look, let's better forget this happened. Just be good from now on and everything will go on smooth. As for this thread, it will be closed. Feel free to start a new one.
