ok wtf do i do with .sit files.....every arcade game for MAC that i DL ends up b-ing a .sit file....so if i want to play the game from a windows 98 what do i need?

.sit is a "stufit" file. This format is common on the MacOS platform.
Try using the free version of StuffIt Expander (http://www.stuffit.com/win/index.html).

Lefteris already gave you a link to the software you need to unpack these files.
I just hope the files contained in these .SIT files are plain ROM files that are usuable
on any system, otherwise you're stuck -- there are Apple Macintosh emulators,
but the most recent Mac OS they run is about Mac OS 8.1 or so (and current version
is about 10.3.5 -- not to mention Mac OS 10 is a COMPLETELY different system).

Have you tried PearPC (http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/computer/pearpc.html) yet? I cant due to limited hardware but since you have a better pc than me if you have a copy of MacOS 10 try it and let me know.
