First befor you yell at me about wrong place to post this i thought it should be in retro becuase i want my emulators to be as retro as i can get um on a computer....move it if you want tho hehe

Anywho! My sega gen in RL on new TV looks nice so i said HMMM!!! how do i get my Sega gen games to look the same on me LCD screens (Which im sure many of you have) as close to what im looking at on my tv right now!...kinda failed kinda didnt. The Paportions are just way way off even with aspect ratio on. Then sound i got it to be exact on Zombies ate my neighbors by simpley setting the sound to 22050 in fusion.

So what do you guys suggest as the best settings For any emulator? At full screen none the less! And i have 2.1 speakers so sound might be hard to perfect for me. I no longer have a Nes or snes So i cant by memory remember what their graphics looked like but i know emulators are "off" by defualt soit seems.

Any help would be Much apreciated And hopefully i can get enough information to compile a single post thread that hopefully be stickied ^_^ (with credits of course)

Really you need to use a CRT monitor to get authentic images. You can try using filter options like scanlines and bilinear filtering to give you a result closer to the original images.

But as a general rule LCD's don't support the range of aspect ratios and refresh rates that many old games displayed at natively which is why many of the game images appear slightly different.

Hmmm Explain to me the paportions thing. On Zombies ate my neighbors on my TV everythinng is nice and small but on my computer nomater what resolution i use it seems the amount of land i see is less and the size of the sprites is huge.

You can try this. I don't know how well it works fullscreen but it works well in windowed mode. First, download this file and put them it in the same directory. Credit to Emutalk since I can't find the orginal link where I got my rar file. BUT there is a huge flaw with this method. Its that you can't fix the border problem, but that is something I got used to, mainly since I don't use fullscreen.

Go to the ini file, and you will see this option.

ForceCompatibleGFX=0

Set it to 1.

Now look under filters, and try BilinearPlus.

See if you like that. Before you do, here is a sample screenshot just to save you save you some time.
