I just saw The Machinist. It really had amazing camera angles and atmosphere. The storyline during the beginning and middle was very well crafted, but the outcome was kinda odviouse. It was like mutiples clues which were hard to figure out, but good none the less. I would recommend it!

Also its crazy how skinny Christian Bale got for this role...wow.

Oh yeah.. Plus there was no Judd Nelson.. WTF :fuckyou: It seems like Prime's voice actor stood out as the only recognizable one.

Hopefully the sequel will be a lot deeper and have more familiar characters.

But overall I'd watch it again.

I bought Karas: The Revelation the other day.. It's not a bad sequel, but I wish it had a little more action, and that it was a little more exciting in that respect.

I think Karas: The Prophecy did a great job of blending story and action, and the action looked beter as well.

Music was top class as always.. Though the voice acting for Otoha & Eko were weak at some points.

ubr
December 7th, 2007, 11:31
I just watched Blood Rayneeliverance. HORRIBLE

Who directed the movie? Uwe Boll  . This guy always screw videogame movie adaptation.

Boll is best known for adapting video games into movies, having directed and produced a number of such adaptations, among them House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark, and BloodRayne. He has announced plans to produce adaptations of Dungeon Siege, Postal, Legacy of Kain and Far Cry. Boll intends to produce Alone in the Dark II, and BloodRayne II: Deliverance, as well as a third movie based on the BloodRayne franchise.

Boll's movies have been critically panned. As of November 6, 2007, all three of Boll's video game adaptations appeared on the Internet Movie Database's Bottom 100 films list. In a review of Alone in the Dark, Rob Vaux states that the movie should make all other "bad" movie directors feel better in comparison: "It's okay," they'll tell themselves, "I didn't make Alone in the Dark." Another reviewer wrote that Alone in the Dark, was "so poorly built, so horribly acted and so sloppily stitched together that it's not even at the straight-to-DVD level."

When rumors surfaced that Boll had expressed interest in a Metal Gear Solid movie, and claimed to have been given a script to read, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima responded in his audioblog HIDECHAN, "Absolutely not! I don't know why Uwe Boll is even talking about this kind of thing. We've never talked to him. It's impossible that we'd ever do a movie with him."

Blair Erickson, a writer of a treatment for Alone in the Dark, has written a critical account of his experience working with Boll, in which Erickson alleges that Boll stole ideas from prior movies and wanted to add elements to the story that were not true to the tone of the source material. Uwe chose to not use Erickson's script, citing reasons such as it having "not enough car chases."

Boll blames the poor commercial performance of his video game adaptations on his distribution company, Romar, and has filed a lawsuit against them.

I have re-seen (is there such a word?) the 1976 film Seven Nights In Japan with Michael York, and Hidemi Aoki. A sweet remake of 1953's Roman Holiday (Audrey Hepburn, Gregory Peck). Michael York's Price of Wales type character isn't endearing (a lot like Prince Charles), but it's worth a watch.

Jale, I actually enjoyed the last harry potter deathly hollows etc. It wasn't that bad. I thought a bit of the magic quarrel scenes could of been done better. But wth ever. Last movie I watched was deathly hallows. I think that i might watch it again too. And rise of the planet of the apes. I think the rest of the harry potter movies excluding probably the first two were somewhat bad. Like the directors just didn't give a who. The acting was terribad but got better slowly. Some of the really emotional scenes looked dull.

True Gritt and I loved this film sooooo much, I probably wouldn't have watched but on Christmas day my BF's dad came for Christmas dinner and all that was on TV was cartoons, so I said to him I'll put something on the PC and plug it in to the TV , he loves Weston's so I picked this film and I'm sooo glad I did within 20minates everyone else had fallen asleep after Christmas dinner and I sat and watched it and I enjoyed it so much the acting was superb, the characters were great and Jeff Bridges was just brilliant i will deffo watch this film again I just loved it and I love it even more because I nearly missed watching it. It wasn't the last film I watched because we are in January now but it's the last one I really enjoyed.

I really really liked this movie it's long but great and i enjoyed it loads and was glad it was mega long. it was a great story and the movie had some super brill characters in it the acting was great and so was the sound track. I've never really been into Quintin Taratino films apart from Reservoir Dogs, it's not that i don't like him i do , I'm just not as into him as everyone else is so this is deffo my fav Tarantino movie. The 3 main characters in it ( Waltz / Foxx and DiCaprio ) were superb.

The Hunger Games
I think I must be the only person in the world who doesn't like this movie ( well I'm not because my mate didn't like it either) so don't all go mad at me I'm just giving my opinion of the film. I found it depressing it's basically a film about kids killing eachother and I found it painful to watch and I usually love movies with lots of violence in them but hated this because it was about kids killing eachother I hated it and I hated the ending too and it left me feeling just plain depressed. I only watched it because i wanted to see what the fuss was all about and i nearly turned it off 1/2 way through but if i start watching a movie i always watch it to the end , i'm just like that. so sorry guys i know you all love it but life would be boring if we all liked the same things. ( oh yes and just to add i haven't read the book mainly because i don't read much fiction i read / like mostly fact books rather that fiction )

The film is very cool. The play of the main actor, the music and the overall overall atmosphere make you shiver. I didn't expect this from a movie based on a comic book.

Joker 2019, awesome movie. Joaquin Phoenix should be won academy award for his performance.

I have a list with films which Iíve already watched. I am a movie buff, in my list you can see plenty various films. Speaking about the last film, it was *ę100 DingeĽ. German cinematographer is eccentric. If you are interested in fashion sustainability and care about our nature, thatís for you. Be ready to spend around 2 hours for watching it.

What a brilliant film

Hmmm, I heard a lot of good reviews about this movie but haven't seen it myself. Maybe when I have free time this weekend in my real estate in Liguria I will watch it with my wife.

It was not a simple movie actually :) it was a wedding present for my cousin :) last month he got married and the photographer they hired made an awesome slideshow with all the guests and all the contest we had then. Incredible feelings!
