Help: Can't use Chankast 02a

I am trying to play Cannon Spike with Chankast and I was told use version 02a. A screen prompting me to enter the time and date is first. I have to enter it twice. Then I come to the Bios screen. If I select play it goes back to the date enty screen. I can never get to the game.

I have Chankast 25 installed on the same computer. It works fine. Daemon Tools and CDI game files. What gives with version 02a ??
