i have tried everywhere and noone will tell me if
anything here has viruses in them.

What do you mean? If the emulators we supply have viruses? No, they don't. Why don't you try an antivirus to check it out by yourself?

Absolutely. Doing anything online without a decent anti-virus is like swimming in shark infested waters with an open wound - you're asking for trouble and will definitely get bitten eventually.

Generally speaking emulators themselves are legitimate projects and the downloads are clean, it doesn't carry the same kind of hazards as content obtained from warez and crackz sites.

If you don't have an Anti Virus, pick any one of these.

AVG (free.grisoft.com/)
AntiVir (www.free-av.com/)
Avast (www.avast.com/)

Personally I recomend Avast

Yes. Viruses could disguise themselves as MP3's WMA's etc.

Not directly, but they can download license or right files which can contain viruses or harmful material, specially WMA ones.

Point being... think of a virus as a virus that affects animals. It adopts, it changes, it has intelligence to it. It will be the day a self mutating computer virus has enough coding to hijack the computer systems of the world!!! :p
