Memory Pak N64

Playing a game that requires a memory pak on N64 emulator to save progress and when I begin playing it, it says "No memory pak detected." Is there a memory pak download or something like. Please help.

Check the controller plugin configuration and make sure the Memory Pak is enabled. I can't say exactly where to enable it since the configuration vary for many plugins.
