Do I need Windows XP installed to install Vista. :p

Depends. If it's a non-bootable disc (update disc), you need a base OS such as Windows XP, but the most common ones are bootable.

I can restart the pc with vista in the drive and it will boot up

I did not know if the visa update did the same.

So i should have the full Version right.

What about Vista Ultimate? That's the one I've been using long ago.

I'm going to install Vista Ultimate after work tomorrow/today probably.. Will see how it goes..

Everyone I've talked to says aside from application compatibility w/really old shit, the only real problem is Driver / Hardware support.. Which isn't Microsofts fault.. Vendors have to make their drivers, not MS.
