I can't seem to run this game on VBA but I've heard that it is possible. I have a BIOS file and vba-over.ini in the same folder as the emulator. When I start up the rom it says "loaded battery", the game boy startup logo pops up but the Nintendo logo on the bottom is all screwed up and the game won't start. Help?

What? Do you have the most current version of the emulator? It should run it.

I'm running 1.8.0 Beta3, from this site. The settings on the emulator have not been changed since I downloaded it. The BIOS file I'm using is gba.rom, and once again vba-over.ini is located in the same folder as Visual Boy Advance.

Are there any settings I'm supposed to change or is anything outdated?

I tested the rom in the emulator, and it came up with a error message basicly saying I will need a BIOS file. Funny thing is that after that, the games started like normal, and I was able to play it. This might sound crazy, but take the BIOS out, and try to play it without it. If that does not work, default everything, by backing up your old ini file, and make a new one. If that does not work restore the ini file.

No luck :( *sigh* How did it work for you and not me? I'm jealous

See what I'm trying to do is use a Gameshark game save from here (http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/save/930982.html)
(the one by ZeroWeapon) and use it on VBA so that I can create a .sav for use on my Supercard Lite as shown in this tutorial. (http://forums.qj.net/f-nds-help-forum-61/t-tutorials-nintendo-ds-tutorial-database-63917.html)

I know VBA is the best GBA emulator available, but do you think by any chance any of the other ones would be able to better emulate this one particular game? Or is that not possible?

Um try No$GBA. It emulates GBA and some DS too. Try to make your own sav by entering codes manually. You can get the codes from places like codebreaker.com.
