I downloaded a file that was 650mbs and after i extracted it it was over 4gigs.
I downloaded UHarc and ive tried to compress different types of files and evey time the files are only compressed by like 1-25mbs.Can someone please tell me how to compress that much. I really need to know.'

The closest you can get to compress them with UHARC0.6 is by using command below :

uharc a -d2 -ed+ -mx -md- -r+ test.uha 1\*.*

test.uha - the name of archive
1\*.* - files to be archived

Get the latest version of UHarc which can be found from the link below :

After you extract them, there is a README.doc which could give you more detail. :)

I don't know Uharc, but I do know many other... easyer to use compression programs. If that's even what your talking about.

Anyway try anyone of these:

WinRAR (www.rarlab.com/)
WinACE (www.winace.com/)
7-zip (www.7-zip.org/)

Personly, I've been useing WinRAR for years, and it's a great app.

Personly, I've been useing WinRAR for years, and it's a great app.
I haVe WinRar, whenever i try to compress large files it only compresses by 1-50 mbs.

Then give 7-Zip a go, It's suppose to be very good. And best of all it's free!
