idea for MAME addon

Was wondering if there exists a program, or addon to mame, that will play the extra characters on multiplayer games for you, simply copying your movements and actions?

You can make a second player mirror your actions by pressing TAB in game and selecting 'input for this game', then set the P2 buttons to the same settings as the P1 buttons.

I actually tried this for Dynamite Deku and Metal Slug and found it to be quite useful. Though I wonder how useful it would be in a fighting game :confused:
