my dolphin is just running at 0.50-1 fps!?!

I got dolphin yesterday but it's really slow and i cant understand why,and when i say really slow, i'm talking under one fps

That's the speed you will get until a suitable hardware is available. Today's PC hardware can't handle Gamecube emulation.
