MAME PROBLEM???????????????PLZ help?

I got mame emulator and downloaded soul calibur,well the title screen shows up and u can play soul calibur,but when the fight starts its super fast and the characters disappear and re-appear,like a glitch.............can anyone tell me how to make the graphics work better and how to get normal spped,any help would be appreciated...................thanks

Try getting another ROM. The rom you have is probably corrupted, so downloading a new one should do the trick :D

Get mameinfo.dat for mame, check in there whats the know bugs for soul calibur. i would check for you... but im not at my home pc.

AFAIK Soul Calibur doesn't currently work properly in mame regardless of what rom you use. I'm pretty sure it has a red screen come up and tell you that when you boot the rom too. Something like, 'This game doesn't work properly. You wont be able to make it work properly. Don't bother' etc etc'.
