Need help running PCSX2

Can someone please tell me how to run the PCSX2? When it runs all I get in the black screen behind the main screen is a bunch of numbers that don't stop. I'm trying to play FF12. Also can you tell me what utilities I need to get to play please. Thanks in advance.

I got finely got the load screen for the PCSX 2 to come up but I can't get the game to load. Any help would be gladly accepted.

Are your PC meet PCSX2 requirements. I mean PCSX2 need a lot of RAM. minimum ram is 1 GB and i think they recommend 2 GB ram. I have tried on 256 mb ram and its disaster. 5 fps with iso and read disc forever with game disc.
