I downloaded (virtualjaguar-1.0.7-win32-bin.zip) which i "think" is the most current VJ.

I unzipped it. I downloaded the bios: jagboot.rom and placed it in ./bios/jagboot.rom

I then clicked on the vj.exe and it doesn't boot, AT ALL. nothing happens. I get the - hour glass wait - pointer for about 3 seconds, and then, nothing.

How do I boot and configure this thing?

Why don't you ask the author ?

I can help you but jaguar games are not very good so I never tried it anyway.

Edit: It is best not to use your real name. It is not safe. :)

Maybe you can try again. His site is old and it was last year. About a year old and no update so far. :o

That was my point... Not many people turn down Interview requests, or the chance to get free publicity

To be honest mate, I use ProjectTempest for Atari Jaguar, and works great for me.

Only thing is though, it is best to use version 0.82 to configure it best with a front end such as MameWah. (it was the last version to use commandline).

Good luck.

PS. The games were fairly poor, although the Jaguar version of Cannon Fodder was nice. :)
