The only folders in the CP are the private message folders for sent and received, and the Thread Subscription folders.. Did you actually subscribe to a thread?

Click the bottom left "Post Reply" button, instead of the quick reply button. The subscription option is on the reply page

i keep on post reply but it doesnt go to my folder unless im wrong

I don't know what to tell you then. I don't use the feature and I'm not an administrator so I can't do anything about it
