gamecube joystick

do u absolutely NEED a joystick when using the gamecube emulator dolphin? :p or is there a way to change it in options or sumtin...?

the keyboard can be used, you absolutely don't need a joystick, in dolphin got to the plugins option then click on choose plugins. in the configuration, go to where it says "Pad Input" and switch the Input to "Pad Simple" then click config to configure the keyboard controls.
