I have a question. Does the effect of "inserting a GBA game into the DS slot" work for the no$gba emulator? For instance, some pokemon can be caught only when pokemon Emerald is inserted into the DS slot. There is a "SLOT" folder when I installed no$gba. If I were to put a pokemon emerald rom into that "SLOT" folder, will I be able to catch those pokemon that can be caught only when GBA games are inserted into the slot? Thanks.

It should run GBA games. As for getting those pokemon, I don't know. Try to see if that works yourself.

no idea if that'll work, but i was thinking instead of doing that, opening No$Gba twice and opening pokemon emerald and diamond and play diamond and leave emerald there. You could try experimenting with No$Gba to see if anything works.

It's gengar that I'm trying to catch in pokemon diamond. no$gba can't trade, so there's no way I can trade to get gengar. I read the faqs and it said that there's one specific location (and only that location) that you can catch gengar, but you can catch them ONLY when you have a GBA game inserted into the DS. I'm wondering if you can do such a thing with the emulator.

If no$gba has support for cheats, then enter a code to have Gengar appear. I don't know what kind of codes that support it so I will give you a link to a website full of them once I know.
