MGS help

Alright, I got everything working but my problem is when I get to pycho mantis(sp) I don't know how to switch the controller to port two so he dosn't read my mind. I read posts of people beating the game so its got to be done.
Im using an alienware PS2 usb contoller and I tried to put the second controller as different controlles but nothing works.

I am running on ePSXe 1.6.0

Run ePSXe, go to Config, Game Pad, Pad1 and change the controls off from your pad to something on the keyboard then go to Config, Game Pad, Pad2 and set them to your controller. Run Metal Gear Solid using the keys to navigate the menu's if the control doesn't do it.

Thanks, worked and I just beat him. I was changing the controlls to make them all the same which didn't work.
