Users, please note that PCSX2 is nowhere near playable speeds as long as you have a single core proccessor the performance won't go anywhere near playable. Take a Petuim 4 for example it would be a meracle if you actually ran the game at 20frames per second (fps). Now a Petium D clocked to 15% more can reach 30fps which is considered decent. A AMD 64 X2 3800+ can reach up to 40-45fps which is considered a good speed, though a AMD X2 5000 or 6000 overclocked can give you a optimal speed of 50-60fps. A Core 2Duo is the main branch for speed in PCSX2. C2D E6600 2,4GHz combined with a ASUS P5B utra can give you a optimal Giga Herds of 3,6GHz. Combined with a GTX card and you will give a outstanding graphic performance. With a GTX card you will be able to enable 4xAABilnear which will give you a major graphic boost. With E6600 clocked at 3,6GHz you will experience greater speed in most games better then the native Playstation 2.
